The Druid Inn is a centuries-old village pub in Birchover, known for it’s warm atmosphere, hearty food, and timeless charm. The owners wanted a website that reflected the pub’s personality while making it easy for visitors to explore menus and check events.
Their previous site was dated, not mobile-friendly, and difficult for staff to update. The redesign focused on creating a responsive, mobile-first website that looks great on any device and is easy to manage.
Andrew Burdett Design worked closely with the owners to understand what makes the pub special. The design uses earthy tones, textured backgrounds, and bold photography, capturing the character of the stone walls and cozy interiors. Navigation was simplified, and booking calls-to-action were made prominent throughout the site.
The website was built using WordPress, giving the team a flexible CMS to update menus, events, and images quickly. The responsive design ensures a seamless experience on mobile, tablet, and desktop, so customers can easily engage with the pub wherever they are.
Since launch, online bookings have increased, staff can update content without technical support, and the website now reflects the welcoming atmosphere of the pub itself – a modern design that honours it’s history.
