Here is another example of our responsive website design – Peak District by train. After tendering for the job we were commissioned by Derbyshire County Council to build a mobile friendly website for the “High Peak and Hope Valley Community Rail Partnership”, which is as an alliance of organisations (including residents, community groups, local councils and train companies). All have a common interest in promoting and developing the stations and train services in and around the High Peak and Hope Valley area of the Derbyshire Peak District.
Working closely with some of the councils transport team we initial produced a page plan and wireframe. Then we created some page designs, to show them the style and functionality of the website. Once approved we then created the numerous pages from their copy and images. We also used imagery from our extensive collection of images of the area.
The site is built using WordPress CMS system and has a useful WSYWYG (what you see is what you get) system to help council staff easily update the site, add new content and pages.
We also provide hosting, maintenance and support for this site, to ensure the site remains live, up-to-date and secure.
Above the website is seen on a couple of mobile phones. As with all our websites, it is responsive and mobile friendly.
